People given chance to look around Pride of Man III
A local charity is inviting people to take the helm at an upcoming open day.
Sailing for the Disabled is looking for people who would like to join them for a cup of tea and ship biscuit on the Pride of Man III.
This Sunday, people will have the chance to have a look around the yacht, which is fitted out to enable people with a wide range of disabilities, and chat to volunteers about sailing with the charity.
The Open Day takes place at its berth in Douglas Harbour between 12pm and 4pm.
Volunteer, Adrienne Sanderson, has been with the organisation for sixteen years and says the sailing can bring many benefits:
