Severe gale force nine winds could affect schedule
The Steam Packet Company is warning of potential disruption to its sailing schedule today.
The 7.45pm crossing to Heysham and the return service at 2.15am are both subject to cancellation or change as a result of the adverse weather forecast.
To give the sailings every chance to go ahead, a final decision will be taken by 5.30pm.
Winds reaching severe gale force nine are expected in the Irish Sea later.
