
A freeze on salary budgets has saved the Manx government around £50 million during this financial year.
The figure was confirmed by Chief Minister Allan Bell, who’s revealed total spending on salaries currently stands at £311 million.
That would have been a lot more, he says, but for cost-saving measures.
