Unsung Hero is first ReBAwards finale
An awards event for people and businesses that go the extra mile to help others, has honoured a charity's longest-serving volunteer.
Joan Houghton was nominated for Isle of Man Unsung Hero in the Responsible Business Awards, before her death in July.
The first of their type in the Island, the awards aim to recognise excellence in corporate social responsibility, in all areas of Manx life.
Accolades were presented last night to companies, organisations, charities, voluntary groups and individuals who help their communities, promote diversity and equality and provide role models for others.
Mrs Houghton's devoted to service to Victim Support was accepted by her husband Stuart and the charity's manager Paula Gelling.
