Volunteers who run The Samaritans help-line are entering what is traditionally their busiest time of the year.
The Christmas period is generally associated with happiness, but some people find the celebrations are over-shadowed by financial worries and family problems.
The Director of the Samaritans in the Isle of Man, Clive Dugdale (pictured) is encouraging anybody who feels apprehensive about the festive period to get in touch:
