Sandra Cottam-Shea has been elected as chair of Ramsey Town Commissioners for the first time.
She takes over from Alby Oldham, having served as vice-chair over the last 12 months.
Speaking at the board's annual general meeting, she says she hopes to fulfil the role to the best of her ability.
Emma Honey will be the local authority's vice-chair for the 2026-27 municipal year.
