The Mayor of Douglas was joined by another gentleman in fur-trimmed red attire for the launch of the Borough Council's first ever Santa tram service on Saturday.
Santa took up 'Dancer's' reins for the inaugural return trip along the promenade, from the Strathallan terminus.
He then set up residence in his grotto to distribute Christmas presents to the younger passengers, ably assisted by his little helpers, Rachel Hall and Julia Harrison.
The service operated today (Monday) and will continue tomorrow, from 10am to 3pm.
All the tickets have been snapped up in advance.
