North Douglas MHK Bill Henderson is demanding a new law to keep track of sex offenders on the Isle of Man.
After the announcement the UK would extend Sarah’s Law – which allows parents to know if there’s a convicted sex offender living near them – he says it’s time we had a Manx version.
Next week in Tynwald, he’ll quiz Home Affairs Minister Adrian Earnshaw about whether Sarah’s Law will be introduced on the Isle of Man.
And Mr Henderson says until it’s in place, children could be at risk:
Pothole claims cost department thousands
Increase in scarlet fever on the Island
Government 'neglecting' heritage assets across the Island
Motiv8: 'We will never reach all the children on the Isle of Man'
