69.3 per cent of the total allowable catch had been landed
The Isle of Man's King Scallop season is scheduled to close at the end of this month.
As of the 23rd of April 69.3 per cent of the total allowable catch had been landed. Meanwhile, vessels fishing under permit in Ramsey have brought ashore 93.9 per cent, leaving just 6 per cent.
Indications are that the reduced number of vessels fishing for Scallops have enjoyed a strong season with some of the highest catch rates for six years.
