Joint venture between MT and local charities
One member of the Digital Inclusion initiative says it has "opened up her world".
The scheme is a joint venture between Manx Telecom and local charities Live at Home and Southern Befrienders, which aims to make online technology more accessible for older generations and help combat loneliness and isolation.
So far, twelve members of staff from Manx Telecom have become volunteer befrienders for twelve members of the community.
