
A new 'colourful' initiative has been launched to try and cut down vandalism at the Island's schools.
The 'School Watch' sign design competition is being spearheaded by the Department of Education and the Isle of Man Constabulary.
It is encouraging primary school pupils to take an active interest in anti-social behaviour.
With cases of school vandalism on the rise it is hoped the scheme will lead to more information on the vandals being reported.
Minister for Education Anne Craine gives the initiative her full backing, and hopes it will make a difference:
