
The opening of Peel Clothworkers' School's extension has been described as a 'red letter day' by the Education Minister.
Anne Craine was among a host of top Manx politicians who attended the official ceremony yesterday afternoon.
The facilities, which include a new dining and assembly hall, sports hall, library and two extra classrooms, were opened by Member for Education Eddie Lowey MLC, who was born in Peel.
Mrs Craine says it's great to see the long-standing project finished and ready for use (audio file attached):
