Students ask government to help them make change
More Island voices are speaking up on the issue of single-use plastics.
Students from the Ramsey Grammar School council are preparing to present a petition to Chief Minister Howard Quayle on Friday.
Four hundred and fifty people have signed the document asking government to help them make the change.
Head teacher Annette Baker says financially getting rid of plastic bottles would take away about £20,000 of revenue from the canteen.
