Onchan school field closed due to dog poo
A school is appealing for dog walkers to stay off its field after the area had to be closed to pupils due to dog fouling.
Onchan Primary School had to keep students away from the field during break and lunchtime yesterday while the grass underwent a thorough cleaning.
In an appeal on social media, the school's headteacher warns dogs aren't permitted to use the premises unless the visit is part of the curriculum.
The school says it's totally unacceptable that people have allowed their pets to foul a school field which is used during the school day and by children outside school hours.
