Department of Education properties will remain open to the public, despite a recent suspected arson attack at one of the secondary schools.
A fire was lit alongside the East building of Ramsey Grammar School which, police say, was 'fortunately contained' before it caused extensive damage.
The Department of Education's Legal and Administrative Services Manager John Gill (pictured) says as it was an isolated incident there will be no change of policy regarding access.
However, he is urging young people to used the grounds sensibly to avoid injury to themselves and damage to property.
A juvenile has been questioned in connection with the Ramsey incident, after handing himself in to police.
He has been questioned and a file is expected to be handed over to the Youth Justice Team.
There is still no word on whether he will be charged with any offence.
