Snow and ice creating 'safety issues'
All schools and University College Isle of Man are to stay closed today due to the snow and ice causing travel difficulties and safety issues.
The Department of Education, Sport and Culture says: 'This decision has not been taken lightly.
'Whilst some schools may be accessible, the safety of pupils and staff travelling to and from school across the Island is of paramount importance to us when we make decisions.'
