The extreme cold is continuing to cause problems for the Department of Education, even though the Island's 12,500 school children have been able to resume lessons.
One of the problems is keeping halls warm enough for pupils who are sitting exams.
Head teacher at Castle Rushen High School Andrew Cole says every effort is being made to keep temperatures up:
