Two high schools send pupils home due to staff absence
The education minister says she’ll have to look at other ways of keeping students in school if rising Covid-19 cases put further pressure on staffing.
Year 9 and 10 students at Ballakermeen High School have spent three days at home this week due to 23 of their teachers being absent.
Ramsey Grammar School has also asked its year 9 pupils not to come to school today or on Monday.
