Asymptomatic cases can pass coronavirus to relatives, warns Dr Glover
The scientist that led the setting up of the on Island coronavirus testing facility wants to see second-week testing for those who isolate as a whole household from next week.
Dr Rachel Glover recently resigned from her role with the Department of Health and Social Care after establishing PCR testing on the Isle of Man.
New rules coming into force on Thursday mean everyone who lives with someone who comes back to the Isle of Man must isolate for 14 days - previously only the returning resident had to isolate.
Speaking to Isle of Man TV, Dr Glover says the risk of spread within the household needs monitoring:
