No tax vehicle could be scrapped
A motorcycle has been confiscated after three people were spotted riding it at the same time.
Police were called after residents in Onchan witnessed a trio of young people attempting the illegal stunt.
The culprits abandoned their jaunt as officers arrived, and it was discovered the scooter had no tax.
The Constabulary's Roads Policing Unit says it's not the first time this has happened - and the bike will go to the scrapheap unless those responsible come to ask for it back.
