Two reports into the scope and structure of government cost the taxpayer more than £90,000, it’s been revealed.
In the House of Keys, Onchan MHK Zac Hall asked a question for written answer about how much the reports had cost.
In response, Chief Minister Allan Bell said hiring the team which produced the documents cost £83,000 in 2006 followed by another £10,000 in 2012 when they produced a follow-up report.
The six-strong team was made up of Ann Clayton, Dick Horsnell, former chief secretary Fred Kissack, former clerk of Tynwald Robert Quayle, former Ayre MHK Edgar Quine and former chief minister Sir Miles Walker.
