Police are hunting thieves who stole a two reels of armoured electrical cable in the west of the Isle of Man over the weekend.
They were taken from outside the garage of a property in the Eairy area of Foxdale, some time between 4pm on Friday and 9am yesterday (Sunday).
Sergeant Stuart Gardner of Peel police says such crimes are on the rise in the Isle of Man, although it hasn't reached the level experienced in the United Kingdom, where even manhole covers and grids have been stolen:
