Company faces charges of health and safety failures over employee death
A Baldrine company’s been committed to a Court of General Gaol Delivery over allegations it breached health and safety regulations.
Stuart Clague Services Ltd, of Ballanette Park, appeared before at Douglas Courthouse.
It’s accused of failing to ensure its employees’ health and safety and failing in its health and safety duties.
The charges relate to the death of Gary Skelding after falling from scaffolding at King William’s College last August.
High Bailiff Jayne Hughes committed the company to appear in the higher court on a date to be fixed.
