A Braddan commissioner says firm proposals to improve the Island’s sea defences need to be in place before work on redeveloping Douglas Promenade begins this autumn.
Part of the prom walkway is currently closed after gale force winds and flooding on Friday led to sections of the surface being lifted and destroyed.
In 2015, then Infrastructure Minister Phil Gawne held a series of public meetings outlining options to improve sea defences.
