Charity reiterates message to give pups space
A grey seal pup had to be removed from Fenella Beach yesterday for veterinary care.
The stage 2 pup had been monitored by volunteers from Manx Wildlife Trust for over 24 hours.
With no signs of its mother, and its low weight, its removal was determined to be the best thing for the animal's welfare.
The charity asks if anyone is worried about a seal or pup’s health to get in touch, as volunteer seal sitters will assess their condition and put up signage.
