Charity seeking avian census-takers
Can you tell your shearwaters from your seagulls? Your chough from your puffin? Your whinchat from your lapwing? If so then the latest positions up for grabs at Manx Bird Life may appeal.
The charity is looking for expressions of interest from any eagle-eyed folk to become seabirds surveyors.
A paid role from April to July 2017, the successful candidates will work as a team of two, counting birds from boats and land.
They'll be conducting a census of Manx birdlife, working five days a week and helping with other day-to-days tasks at the Laxey-based charity.
