Quids Inn owner Andrew Saunders to stand for election
A second candidate has announced their intention to stand in Douglas East in September's General Election.
Andrew Saunders is the owner of Quids Inn and also a member of the Licensed Victuallers Association.
If elected, he says his priorities would include the health service, making the Island a better place for young people to live and work, the economy and climate change.
He says: "I feel deeply that our wonderful Island has been losing its way under recent administrations and that this is the time when I must put myself and my ideas to improve the Island, and Douglas East, forward.
"It will be my principle to take every choice with the main thought in my mind being 'Will this decision make the Island and the lives of the Manx residents better?'"
Also standing in Douglas East is Joney Faragher.
The General Election is taking place on Thursday 24 September.
