Nobles Nurse to contest seat
A second candidate has emerged for the forthcoming Douglas East by-election.
Thirty-one year-old nurse Clare Bettison, who works at Noble’s Hospital, will contest the soon-to-be vacant seat.
Next month, long standing MHK Brenda Cannell will stand down from her post.
Earlier today, former councillor Jon Joughin announced he was also bidding for the seat.
