Stretch from Ballacraine Crossroads to close between Wednesday and Friday
A road closure order will come into effect later this week which will see a section of Peel Road shut during the day.
The 300m stretch up to the Ballacraine crossroads from Douglas will be closed between 9:30am and 3:30pm on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (22-24 January).
The Department of Infrastructure is to fell 'several dead and unstable large trees'.
Diversions will be in place via Glen Darragh Road (Glen Vine)/ Foxdale/ The Hope/ Ballacraine.
