Impact Kickboxing hosting sessions
Courses are being put on to help teach preventative methods to those suffering from physical abuse.
Dave Pearson from Impact Kickboxing decided to host the sessions after being contacted by a number of women and men suffering from domestic violence during lockdown.
It coincides with an increase in both domestic abuse cases reported to police and referrals to local organisation Victim Support.
Mr Pearson says his aim is to teach people how to get out of negative situations:
The courses are on 3 and 24 October, you can book on the Impact Kickboxing Facebook page or by calling 259259 - all information provided during the courses is confidential.
