Chief minister, Lieutenant Governor and the Lord Bishop attend private ceremony
Senior leaders on the Isle of Man have met this afternoon to light a candle recognising the Jewish festival of Chanukah.
Chief Minister Alfred Cannan MHK, the Lieutenant Governor and the Lord Bishop attended a private ceremony alongside members of the Jewish community.
Mr Cannan says today's arrangements had been in place for some time, but take on extra significance following yesterday's tragic events in Sydney.
He's sent the Isle of Man Government's deepest condolences to all those affected by the 'horrific' attack.
