Sentence on a 22 year old man who admitted drink-driving has been adjourned for reports.
The court heard Paul Andrew James Khosla, of Demesne Road, Douglas crashed his car at Guthrie's Memorial on the Mountain Road, at 11.10pm on April 3.
Police arrested him at the scene on suspicion of drink driving after noticing a smell of alcohol.
He failed a roadside breath test and sample showed a blood alcohol reading of 159mg, compared with the legal limit of 80.
The court was told Khosla had a similar conviction in the United Kingdom in 2006.
He was bailed until May 13, with a condition that he can't drive.
