58-year-old remanded at the Isle of Man Prison
A Douglas man who misused the 999-emergency communications network will be sentenced next month.
Christopher Mcevoy, of James Street, pleaded guilty to committing the offence on 18 August – he also admitted attempting to breach a licensing order 10 days later.
The 58-year-old will also be sentenced for being drunk and incapable, at his home address, on 21 July and for wasting police time on 16 September by making false reports during a 999 call.
A social enquiry report has been requested before sentencing takes place on 10 November – there was no application for bail and he was further remanded at the Isle of Man Prison.
