Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious accident on the Mountain Road.
It happened at the 33rd Milestone, just before 4.30pm on Friday, and involved a green Landrover Defender.
The vehicle was travelling towards Ramsey when it left the road at the first right-hand bend
The driver received serious, though not life threatening, injuries.
Anyone who saw the incident, or the Landrover before the crash, is asked to contact the Roads Policing Unit 631212.
