The life of a motorcycle racer who died at this year's Manx Grand Prix will be honoured in his hometown later (Wed).
Alan 'Bud' Jackson was killed at the Creg ny Baa during racing on 24 August.
The 62-year-old had been racing in the MGP since 1979, and racked up four wins.
A procession of bikes will follow him from the Odd fellows Arms in Kendal to his local parish church for a funeral service at 1.20pm.
Hundreds of fans, family and friends have responded to the tribute online.
