
One of Manx Radio's best known voices has been remembered at a service of celebration.
Geoff Cannell, the former Onchan MHK, member of the Board of Education and former news and sports editor at Manx Radio, died last year at the age of 65.
But it was for his TT commentaries that he will remain forever young for so many people and fittingly yesterday's service was held in the pit lane at the TT Grandstand.
Equally fittingly perhaps, it was held in the rain, a fact that wasn't lost on Sir Laurence New who led the service (audio file attached):
