The Isle of Man has marked Armed Forces Day.
Hundreds of servicemen and women, including veterans and those serving at present, were recognised at the fifth annual event.
They received a warm welcome as they marched along Douglas promenade to the Villa Marina for a thanksgiving service led by Archdeacon Brian Smith.
Among the homecoming troops was Captain Andrew Bridson, a captain in the Royal Marines, who says it's vital to recognise those who have contributed so much in recent and previous campaigns:
