A seventh candidate has declared for Arbory, Castletown and Malew in the upcoming House of Keys General Election.
Steve Crowther is an architect, having previously worked extensively in the UK and Asia before returning to the Island in 2003 to raise his family.
He says: "In an economic and environmentally unstable world it is essential the Island has both a robust and resilient economy/community attractive to investment. Many institutions worldwide are fearful and are looking for the type of stable base the Isle of Man could so easily offer.
"The Isle of Man still has many good things to offer, however, like the government reserves, these are dwindling away by government focusing on window-dressing, not focusing on both the economy and our community’s core challenges. This must be redressed and clear at the centre of government."
Also standing in Arbory, Castletown and Malew are Juan Christian, Mark Firth, Kirrie Jenkins, Jason Moorhouse, Abby Quirk and Geoff Sutcliffe.
The General Election is taking place on Thursday 24 September.
