Denis Staunton standing for new political party 'Change'
A seventh candidate has declared for Douglas North in September's General Election.
Denis Staunton owns Paparazzi restaurant and is standing for the new political party 'Change'.
Among the party's priorities are what it describes as 'ending mass immigration', abolishing the Council of Ministers and replacing the Legislative Council with a publicly elected 'People's House'.
Also standing in the constituency are David Ashford, Jason Cheetham, Damian Ciappelli, Janet Thommeny, Peter Washington and Hugo Yates.
The General Election is taking place on Thursday, 24 September.
