Public not at risk say police
Arrests have been made following what police described as 'a serious incident' on Victoria Road this weekend.
Full details have not been disclosed as to nature of the event but police say it involved a group of males and females during the early hours of Saturday morning.
Manx Radio understands two people received treatment for injuries but have since been released from hospital.
Detectives from the Criminal Investigation Department are continuing with their enquries and would like to stress there is no risk to the public because those involved knew each other.
The appeal for witnesses is ongoing with leaflets posted to residences in the area.
