Government confident it has enough equipment
The Isle of Man Government is confident the 'several millions of pounds worth' of PPE stored at the NSC will see the Island through the coronavirus crisis.
One of the sports halls at the facility continues to hold equipment such as facemasks and gowns, with the extra kit having been brought in at the start of the outbreak.
However, with sports sites now reopening, work is underway to find an alternative storage area.
Education, Sport and Culture Minister Dr Alex Allinson confirmed the remaining supplies are sufficient:
Planning application for onshore wind farm still being developed
Motorcyclist suffered fatal chest injuries in crash
Trial for trio accused of producing Class A drugs to Island
