
A row's broken out over plans to allow the dumping of sewage pellets at a landfill site in the north of the Island.
Bride Commissioners say they're 'horrified' at the prospect around 400 tons of pellets from the Meary Veg treatment plant could be buried each year at Wright's Pit North.
The Commissioners fear the sludge pellets could pollute the land and sea - and should be used as a fertiliser on farmland instead.
And they've called a public meeting next week to debate the issue.
