Planning provisionally approved for new facility in Peel
Plans being provisionally approved for a new sewage treatment works in Peel is good news, but they need to be carefully considered.
That's according to the Manx Wildlife Trust.
It's hoped Manx Utilities can begin work on the site later this year and the facility could be in use by the end of 2026.
But Lara Howe from the charity says any plans need to be mindful of the surrounding wildlife:
