A man who broke into a house to indecently assault a woman as she slept has been jailed for three and a half years.
Steven Alan Wade, of Onchan, admitted two indecent assaults and one charge of harassment when he appeared at a Court of General Gaol.
The court was told he went out looking for unlocked properties in the early hours of the morning, and police arrested him in September last year after a lengthy investigation.
Wade was placed on the Sex Offenders Register for ten years and a restraining order was issued to prevent him from contacting his victim.
Inspector Helen Mason says officers want to hear from anybody who thinks they may have been one of Wade's victims.
