Society elects first female president
The Island's golf scene has been described as 'open and refreshing' by a leading lady in the sport.
Female member Dee Lewis recently made history by becoming the first woman to be elected President of Isle of Man Golf.
Concerns have been raised about widespread sexism in many clubs across Britain - most notably at Muirfield in Edinburgh, where women were banned from becoming members until very recently.
However, Ms Lewis doesn't believe female players suffer the same problems over here.
