A Ramsey man charged following a serious sexual assault in the town earlier this month will appear before the Deputy High Bailiff this morning (Friday).
Gary Beattie, 34, was remanded in custody eight days ago, when he made an initial appearance at court.
He's been charged in connection with an attack on a woman at an address on Parliament Street in Ramsey at about 11pm on Monday, March 1.
Police yesterday launched an appeal for information about the incident, saying the woman got out, ran towards Parliament Square and headed into the Mandarin Chinese takeaway.
They're keen to speak to anyone who saw the woman, in particular a man who's believed to have spoken to her in the Chinese.
