Shared waiting lists for housing is all Island policy

Department working with two non-participating society

The introduction of shared waiting lists for public sector housing is an all-island policy.

That was confirmed in Tynwald this morning (Tues 16) by Infrastructure Minister Ray Harmer.

Two authorities - Port St Mary and Onchan - have so far decided not to take part in the shared list initiative.

Questioner Lawrie Hooper wanted to know what action was being taken against them

Minister Harmer says so far his department had chosen to work collaboratively with them.
