'She changed my life': Tributes paid to former schoolteacher

'Mrs Messenger' was a netball coach and taught at Castle Rushen High School

'She changed my life."

That's one of the tributes which has been paid to former Island school teacher, and netball coach, Sue Wright following her death on 9 August.

Known to her students as 'Mrs Messenger' Sue was a teacher at Castle Rushen High School for over two decades.

Isle of Man Netball Participation Director Fiona Kemp says she had a 'huge' impact on the sport here:

Ballakermeen P.E teacher, and former Castle Rushen student, Jane Ryder has also been paying tribute to Mrs Wright.

It's now been confirmed Mrs Wright's funeral will take place on 4 September at Colby Methodist Church at 10.30am.
