A local folk band completed an epic musical marathon in aid of Breakthrough Breast Cancer at the weekend, with time to spare.
Shenanigans' aim of playing a song in every one of the Island's 100 or so pubs and bars in 12 hours began at the Queen's Hotel on Douglas Promenade at 11am on Saturday.
Martin Perkins said that after partying late into the night, he and the rest of the band had sore heads and feet, and were sore everywhere else, but the support all along the way was unbelievable (audio file attached):
