Tulip Belle the seal recognised over 18-year period
A seal regularly spotted in Manx waters, has been found travelling as far as Cornwall on the south coast of England.
Tulip Belle the seal was recognised by the Cornwall Seal Group Research Trust, after trawling through hundreds of photos sent to them by the Manx Wildlife Trust.
Sightings date as far back as 2001, with trips recorded back and forth in the years since.
The discovery was an unusual find for director of the Cornwall trust Sue Sayer, who told Alex Wotton she was shocked to see a familiar face:
